The One With Jesse's Creepy Cousin...
taylorkingston24 November 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I really only have one word that sums up how I feel about this episode of Full House: meh. That's it. It was okay, it was alright. It wasn't amazing, it wasn't hilarious, and certainly isn't one of my favorites. However, I do think it's worth watching, and I think the main reason why I don't like this episode very much, is because John Stamos plays Jesse, and his cousin, but the cousin, is super gross, and super creepy.

In this episode, Jesse comes home from Greece, after attending the funeral of his Grandfather, Papuli. And he doesn't come home alone. He brings along his cousin, Stavros, who is actually looks a lot like Jesse. I wonder why. The two are very close, but he isn't a great guy. He cons the rest of the family, and even hits on Becky. And after overhearing the family talk about his bad behavior, Stavros convinces the family that his town in Greece had a huge mudslide, and asks them to hold a fundraiser, to help rebuild the town.

Best part of the episode: Anything except for Stavros.

Overall, I give this episode a 5 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Okay.

Evil Cousin.

A regular on a show playing someone else is always a risk. It either succeeds to a high degree or fails. This succeeds.

After Jesse spends the the week in Greece following his grandfather's funeral, he brings back his cousin, Stavros (also played by John Stamos) for a visit. Stavros and Jesse used to be like brothers. But things change. Now, he is a rude, shady, womanizer. Jesse doesn't believe the family because he thinks they don't understand how passionate Greeks are. They must catch him in the act before he pulls off a major stunt.

Stavros being a con artist is hilarious, but it is Stamos' talent that makes this an awesome episode.
