She regrets breaking up with him and is floored when they become prom king and queen. DJ is obviously jealous, but is furious when Rachel kisses Steve. DJ then kisses Rachel's date. More unfolds into such a glorious conclusion. The best part about this is it does not feel schmaltzy. It feels legit. I love romantic angles, ONLY when they are done right. And this episode knocks it out of the part.
