Jesse is a struggling musician. Joey is a struggling comic. Danny is the only one with a stable job making good money living his dream. To help jumpstart their careers, Jesse and Joey try doing jingles and advertising to put their passions at use. But here is where it changes...
Jesse and Joey write and record jingles. They come up with the concepts for what is to be seen. Now here is their first time being fully in charge: writing AND directing their own tv commercial. The pitch is for a new cologne. Their woman producing it immediately seizes power and gets the ad to take place in a washroom with Jesse getting out of the shower. Girls will like that! They hate it and quit. Where did their advertising careers go? How did it help their own passions. I'm sure writers knew of this hole.
Danny suggests Jesse and Joey create their own advertising company and he will put up the dough. All is agreed upon. Remember when I said their advertising careers went nowhere before? Well they REALLY don't go anywhere with themselves as the bosses. In almost episodes after this the only thing mentioned is "the studio". Sheesh! At least five this some arc! Make it actually mean something and not just another episode!
