Another season 8 forgettable episode. Joey a teacher now the show is just pulling stuff out of nowhere. You can't just say something and make it believable, why the heck would Joey be a teacher he wants to be a comedian, doesn't make any sense. Also Michelle is unlikable in this episode and I enjoy the serious Joey in this episode. I don't always like serious Joey like in "But seriously folks", but him being serious seemed reasonable considering the setting, and at the end him going back and fourth is what he should have just done from the beginning, but it's not a great episode and easily one I can skip in season 8.

Joey A Teacher?

This is the first time we find out Joey got a teaching certification after college and that he always renews it. Then how come he was always worried about going from job to job? When he was fired from Ranger Joe, just go back to teaching. Sometimes it is easy to see where last minute write-ins occur.
The flu has most substitute teachers at Michelle's school gone, so Joey steps in. Michelle tries taking advantage of his comedy and impressions but it just leads to the class getting out of control with wanting him to do an impression of Porky Pig. Next person to make a sound goes to the office. And who should be next but Michelle herself. Next day Joey tries to be mister funnyman but doesn't get. work done. There needs to be a balance.
Meanwhile, Jesse is auditioning members for his new band. Danny is adamant about auditioning and turns out to be by far the best one Jesse sees. Will Danny be Jesse's new lead guitarist?
The balance between work and fun is done well here. Plus the subplot with the guitarists is perfection.
