Joey spends time as a junior ranger in the national park. Dry weather has brought a drought and dangers of forest fires.

The park ranger is turning back cars and the risks that insensitive tourists bring. One of the disgruntled tourists are a father and son combo.

They ignore the ranger's orders. Sneak into the park, burn a fire to cook a meal. They go hunting and the father carelessly discards a cigarette.

It starts a fire leaving both his son and Joey trapped. It is up to Joey and Fury to save the boy.

Meanwhile Jim Newton is angry the ignorant father.

This is very much an educational father about the dangers of forest fires. There is plenty of stock footage. Joey is a real boy scout here.
