This episode was intended to be the series opener, featuring Mandy expressing concerns that her new boyfriend, a boxer, could be knocked unconscious and enter a coma.
Two days before broadcast Gerald McClellan entered a coma in a televised boxing match and the episode was pushed back in the running order until he reached a stable condition.
Despite this, Matthew Bond reviewed the episode in The Times on 28th February 1995, making it clear he was working off a preview copy.
