The exquisite Joan Fontaine
searchanddestroy-13 June 2016
The great Joan Fontaine plays here a sophisticated lady in love with a man whose the son, at first is against this relationship, at his turn falls for this woman. You have understood that it's a pure romance tale, romance drama indeed. But very well done, and as good as a great movie picture. The best proof of what the TV industry is really worth for whom can be interested in. In these times, the TV shows were so close to the films for the big screen. So close, contrary of now. Robert Stevenson directed this story. I may remember that he worked with Fontaine in his movie picture career. I'll check.

Good episode that sounds like another "Summer" story, directed by Robert Mulligan starring Gary Grimes and Jennifer O'Neill: SUMMER OF 42. So, folks, don't miss it.
