"He's dead, and she's drunk."

Warning: Spoilers
With a murder victim in one corner and a passed out woman in the other, it's obvious that there's something intriguing going on, and this episode of the General Electric Theater presents an interesting mystery with a lot of unique twist. Reagan is a police officer, unable to be officially involved in the case because his wife is the accused, but he's bound and determined to get to the bottom of things. His investigation leads him to a shocking case of elder abuse, a witness unable to speak but giving clues through pointing, and some very good timing. Kim Hunter is the wife, frantic over her innocence, and having to relive the moments before she was knocked unconscious. Adeline De Walt Reynolds, an aging actress who barely ever said a word on screen, has a very key role in solving the case. Very well written and directed, this is a practically perfect little mystery that was some expansion in the script could have made a nice little B feature.
