When Doc Baker met Victor Newman.
mark.waltz10 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
With familiar faces and possibly obscure names, Kevin Hague ("Little House on the Prairie") and Eric Braeden ("The Young and the Restless") are an interesting team of conspirators as the collaborators on a murder, with Braeden the hit man (cool and heartless, even wearing a fake mustache) and Hague his employer. Christie's working undercover as a maid when one of her associates from the force is taken out by Braeden, and she sets out to find the killer, a hit with all the makings of a man presumed dead.

Bill McKinney, Thayer David ("Dark Shadows") and Leon Russom are others featured in major parts in this episode, but I most anticipated how Teresa Graves as Christie would expose Braeden and take him down, just as I've done with "Y&R's" mumbling megalomaniac Victor Newman for over 40 years. It's a chilling game of cat and mouse, even with a falcon reference from David, and it's pretty obvious who's going to be the mouse, even though he portrays a rat. A "Manchurian Candidate" style type hit is a nail biting finale.
