This is a fan favorite for a good reason. I loved the writing and acting in this episode, plus all the scenes shot at "Harvard" were really cool. It's kind of unrealistic that Rory and Lorelai wouldn't just hurry down the stairs to go get food but then again we wouldn't get the wonderful fuzzy Certs dialog. I hate that Lorelai and Rory get into an argument but I can see both sides to the story. My mind was blown when I realized that the whole "Sammy the cat is never on the stairs" bit between Lorelai and LaDawn (the B&B owner) is a nod to Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland. Also, isn't it great when Luke finds out that the engagement is off and gives everyone free coffee at the diner?

The One Where The Gilmores Go The Harvard...

Warning: Spoilers
I love this episode. I love seeing Rory where she wants to go to college and to see her adapt so well to it.

In this episode, after Lorelia sneaks away with Rory in the middle of the night, to escape from her wedding, because she's not ready to get married, the girls end up at a bed and breakfast which is disturbing and not at all fun. They then end up going to Harvard University. The college Rory hopes she'll be attending in a couple of years. They tour the campus, telling fun facts about the college to each other. Rory sneaks into a lecture and really enjoys herself and can see herself attending there. After they leave, Lorelai decides to go ahead with her dream of someday opening her own inn.

Fun Fact: Masi Oka can be seen in the Harvard lecture.

Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Freaking Ridonkulous.
