What a curious and amusing story about the friendship between a sixty years old man and a kid. The man is a street gambler, a guy who mainly lives outdoors playing checkers. Both, him and the boy, meet during a checkers game when the kid beats the old man. Then they become friends and their adventure begins. Next step in their journey takes place in a department store when the boy has to beat a robot in a checkers game too...Yes, a very entertaining piece of work for the whole family. I plenty enjoyed it, especially for only a twenty minutes length. Of course, for one hour and a half, maybe it would have bored me.
The ending is not so surprising, I admit, but the whole show is worth.
