Lisa tells Oliver about how "the screen kinda schwims" when someone dreams in the movies. It starts to happen and Oliver actually sees it.
The barbecue starter from Mr. Haney is a representation of "Lady Justice" sitting. There are three accepted representations of Lady Justice: a) standing, b) kneeling and c) Sitting. In all three, she is blindfolded. In all three, she holds a scale. In all three, she holds a sword. Only when standing does the sword point to the sky.
The picture of Oliver in the paper is the same picture used under the headline "New Resident Starts Trouble" in S1, E11:Parity Begins at Home (1965).
Adjusted for inflation, the $250 judgment against Mr. Haney would equal approximately $2,300 in the year 2023. The $300 purchase price of the clock would be about $2,700.
Haney sells Lisa a Grandfather's clock for $300, claiming it once belonged to Lester Henderson, "one of Abe Lincoln's closet neighbors."
