The title is based on the song "I Didn't Raise My Boy To Be A Soldier" by Al Bryan and Al Piantadosi, one of the few anti-war songs from World War I.
In yet another differing account of their honeymoon, Oliver says that he and Lisa traveled on the famed Orient Express. It was there they ran into Lisa's mother who was on-board selling sandwiches.
To Oliver's irritation, the headline story in the "Hooterville World Guardian" refers to him as the "famous pig lawyer."
