In a scene in the middle of the story, when the Green Hornet and Kato visit Low Sing and Slate to suggest a prisoner exchange, Kato and Low Sing square off in kung fu stances. First, in a medium shot, Low Sing's right hand is more or less straight out and at chest level; the camera then cuts to a close shot in which the same hand is at shoulder level and cocked; then the camera cuts back to the medium shot in which the hand is again straight and level with his chest.
When the Green Hornet and Kato are driving Jimmy to the hostage exchange, Jimmy is seated behind Kato on the driver-side of the car. When they reach their destination and the car stops, the Green Hornet is clearly seated behind Kato and gets out of the driver-side rear door.
Duke Slate plans an ambush of the Green Hornet, who surprises the racketeer by walking up from an unexpected direction and using his Hornet Sting to blast the rifle held by Slate's henchman. As the thug drops the resulting pieces, a cable involved in creating the blast effect can be seen running along the actor's arm.
