Sadwith seems to be the weak link in this TV series. The writing is usually the most suspect aspect of each episode and this is the weakest one of the lot. It is too outlandish in plot to be treated seriously-this is true for other episodes as well-but Sadwith as director playstit completely earnestly. The affair story, such as it is, was engaging but this needed to lean into the outlandish aspects more. Instead, the short tried to hide that it was a melodrama.
