While attending business downtown, Mark rushes to the aid of a woman being attacked by men in a mail truck. While he thinks he can find safety from the police officer reponding to their call, the woman informs him the officer is actually a member of an unofficial "underground" police and they are far from being safe.
McCormick is fed up of a superficial relationship and is looking for someone special, he gets that in the form of a office worker who works in a tax office and has two guys wanting to bump her off because she flagged up a warning to her boss that ten police officers no longer working are on the parole. From there, it's mayhem and love. A decent episode with the usual enjoyable formula.
