This comic episode not only won Gene Roddenberry the WGA award for writing but also was about the easiest $1,000 I can remember Paladin ever making.
Paldin is hired by the Armenian Abajinian (Harold J. Stone) to find his daughter who run away with a cowpoke named O'Reiley (Wright King). Roddenberry writes an amusing negotiating scene as Abajinian and Paldin dicker on his price. Then Paldin rides after the girl and finds her in no time flat. He discovers Helen (the oh so lovely Lisa Gaye) is in love with O'Reiley but he's refusing to admit he's interested. Paldin brings them both back, where O'Reiley arm wrestles Abajinian in another funny scene and is mesmerized by Helen when she dances for him and eventually falls in love.
The comedy all works in this. Boone seems to be having a great time not having to shot anybody all episode long(he also negotiates the dowry at the end), and Wright King looks and acts like a young Henry Fonda. Add in hotty Gaye and what's not to like about this episode?
