- A young woman goes onto a balcony in what is thought to be a suicide attempt. However, it is all a plot to lure her fiancée out into the open to kill him and prevent him from testifying against a mobster. After he has been liquidated, McGarrett must now try to prevent the woman from becoming the gang's next victim.—Brian Washington <Sargebri@att.net>
- This synopsis contains spoiler. The butler did not do it but once again it was the lawyer. Poorly written and no clues to the conclusion--just another cheap easy twist (if it can even be called that) that the crook's lawyer is framed and once again it is by the nasty lawyer. This is a cheap poorly written plot. Don't bother watching, the scenery is not even that good except for a little eye candy at the pool scene. Usually these poor artifices come toward the end of a series when the writers are bored with the program, but this is only season four. The suspense (if it can be called that) is created by an attempt to save a girl who is a jumper out on a ledge. The boyfriend-witness is called to rescue her and is "hit' in the process. Naturally he is found dead in a submerged car. Cliché after cliché abound in " Bait Once, Bait Twice." But the poor attempts at suspense fail. This is one of the worst Hawaii Five-0 episodes I have seen, and I have seen all the prior ones. Forget about wasting your time on this one. The character and plot development as well as the acting are all mediocre at best. Skip this one.
