At one point, Cricket and Paul are discussing a Marine who was in The Shell Bar who also happened to be an astronaut. At this time there were only seven astronauts, with the only Marine among them being John Glenn. Glenn soon became the first American to orbit the Earth, and later went on to be a member of the United States Senate.
The first of five episodes in which Leon Lontoc appeared in a small role. Upon the series' cancellation, he went on to his signature role as Henry the chauffeur on another ABC show, "Burke's Law."
