Cricket's performance of "Fascinating Rhythm" is recycled from the earlier fourth season episode Somewhere There's Music (1962).
The music playing in the background during the beginning of the closing scene is the theme song from "A Summer Place" (1959), which co-starred Troy Donahue.
Connie Stevens holds up and looks at an LP in Shannon's apt. It's Edd "Kookie" Byrnes' album, which Connie also sings on. Kookie starred on companion show 77 Sunset Strip. Also, an instrumental is played at the end of the show, which is A Summer Place, which was the title song from the movie Troy Donahue was in.
