Lucy appears on THE ART LINKLETTER SHOW, where she is offered $500 if she's able to control her temper for 24 hours. Little does she know, her kids, Harry and Mary Jane are all in on it and conspire to make Lucy blow her top.
This episode is basically a remake of a superior LUCY SHOW episode from Season 4. In that one, Lucy had to remain silent for 24 hours, which allowed for funnier situations. This is a fan-favorite but after multiple viewings I still don't get its appeal. There is nothing here we haven't seen before - chaos in a supermarket; Lucy complaining about Kim's skimpy clothing; Craig disturbing Lucy with his drums, etc. It's all pretty much been-there-done-that. Even the final gag with Lucy's big payout coming in the form of a wheelbarrow full of pennies, is silly and illogical. 6/10.
