A Couple Cute Musical Numbers But That's All
kgraovac5 December 2023
The Carters put on a musical celebrating Harry's alma mater, Class of 1928 at Bullwinkle U.

This is an okay episode. Some of the musical numbers are actually quite cute and well-executed. Lucy plays a cheerleader named Ginger (yes, it's a stretch to have 59-year-old Lucy as a co-ed) and the male chorus serenades her with "Ain't She Sweet".

Harry plays the high school jock and the girls sing "Baby Face" while dancing around him. Everyone talks in 1920s slang.

The comedy skits in the show-within-the show are kind of corny though. Lucy and Lucie (who plays a dippy co-ed named Honey) sneak their way into the boys' dorm in drag but get caught by the Dean (Robert Alda).
