A cat up the curtains.....

Enid Weston refuses to leave her flat, condemned and falling to pieces, she refuses to acknowledge the eviction notices, and demands the chance to prove that the flats were built on the cheap, not to scale.

A story of corruption and bribery, the show sometimes verges on the lighter side, this is one of those that's firmly on the darker side.

I have always thought this particular episode was one of the show's best, it's a really thoughtful, clever mystery, one where Hetty's appearance feels very natural and organic, nothing feels contrived.

A few moments will have you chuckling, Geoffrey being met by a semi naked man at the door to Janet's was funny. He's becoming a bit of a stalker.

The much missed Keith Barron, always the nice guy, it was great to see him playing someone a little dubious, a bit dodgy. Jean Heywood was a lovely actress, she's super as Enid, if you're a crime drama fan, you may have spotted her in Agatha Christie's Sleeping Murder, starring Joan Hickson.

Excellent, 9/10.
