- The next day is Thanksgiving so Victoria and the hands have a desire for turkey but the only source is a man squatting on Big John's land. Starting with a turkey shoot in Tucson the men have ups and downs in having a traditional holiday.
- As Buck, Blue, and Manolito prepare to leave for Tucson, Victoria announces the next day is Thanksgiving and she would like a turkey. She invites the hands who love the idea but Big John tells her he will not deal with the only source of them who is a squatter on his land. In Tucson Buck and Blue try to win a turkey shoot but lose to a friend until Manolito wins it trying to get enough money to buy a girl a dress. Big John has second thoughts so he visits Fergus MacLeish to buy a turkey but only one is left which the MacLeish family is keeping. Meanwhile Manolito's girl's fiancé steals the Cannon buckboard along with the turkey. Big John and his men spot him driving it in the desert and as they chase it the turkey is bounced loose. A family with three hungry kids find it. The men also find it but decide to leave it with the family. Meanwhile, an Apache group steals the MacLeish turkey and they accuse Cannon of stealing it. Pedro still looking for the loose turkey finds the turkey taken by the Apaches and trades his broken rifle for it. At the ranch house the next day, turkey is on the table but as everyone arrives including the Apaches it becomes a traditional gathering of everyone.—Anonymous
