Good casting with the addition of Ricardo Montalban, but.......
The beginning of this episode shows Ricardo getting ambushed and shot down. He is a wanted killer on both sides of the border.
Blue finds him and it shows him Only shot in his right side by his liver. Blue insists he be taken to the ranch.
Shortly after arriving, he is shown only to have a bloody bandage on his left shoulder. Then later he is shown with an additional bloody bandage in the center of his chest. And then later Again, he is finally shown with the addition of a bloody bandage by the original wound, his liver.
Within days he is up and walking around. Even with only the "liver wound" that's not very realistic. With three wounds, he is able to physically scuffle with Victoria? I think NOT!
The bulk of the show is about Ricardo's brother and gang trying to get him released. Big John was intending to only hold him long enough to recover for the trip to Tucson and the Sheriff.
Of course they show Victoria being a complete idiot by letting him out of his locked room. How many times in the show does she show herself to be this stupid? Too many. I find it really hard to believe women were that dumb and naive! Held down by men yes, but not that stupid and naive.
I'm sure by now you can figure out that I'm not a huge fan of this episode. But I won't give the ending away. Watch if you will, but I don't think this one is worth watching.
