When Matthew's realizes they should have passed the bus, the skies are almost clear and full sun. The next shot of the bus on the back road shows fully overcast skies, the buses wipers running, raining with wet roads and water running in the gutter. The next shot of the CHP turning around to go on the back road shows partly cloudy with sun. There are also no raindrops on the bus or police cars. The scene must have filmed over hours of the day as bad weather moved in.
After Ken talks to bus driver, he and Matthews talk about how empty the bus is and Matthews tells Ken to "check it out". Ken gets into the patrol car to pursue the bus. After a short bus scene, Ken gets a radio call from HQ about bus usually having 25 or more passengers. Then he and Matthews jump into the patrol car to "Check that bus again". The same tree is in background of patrol car both scenes.
Highway Patrol office reports stolen money and several dresses from dress shop at top of show. Establishing shot of store at top of show reveals "Greta's Cleaners - Alterations" not dress shop.
The two girls ask the bus driver to take the next right, to get off the main road. Later when Matthews says he should have passed the bus by now, they double back and take a right onto the dirt road. They should have needed to turn left to turn onto the dirt road.
When the convicts get off the bus, you can light boxed reflected in the side of the bus.
When the police pull up to go after the women, you can faintly hear the director say "turn" as they exit the cars. Also the boom mic is visible moving over the rear window as they chase the women.
