LeBeau is leaving to fight for free France
kfo94948 September 2014
We begin season six with a new radio man, Sgt. Baker, and the threat of losing another of the regulars in LeBeau. It seems that Charles De Gaulle has sent out a call for all free French patriots to come to England and begin the elimination of Germans from the French land. LeBeau takes it to heart and asks Hogan for permission to return to London and fight for free France.

But in the meantime, LeBeau has been cooking while Klink has been entertaining General Wexler. It seems that the General has some plans that the Allies greatly need and the cooking keeps the General coming back. Hogan asks LeBeau to cook one more meal and then he can return to fight for France.

A nice story to start of the final season. it was an interesting tale that included situations that have not been covered in the earlier episodes. The fresh script made for an enjoyable watch.

Where did Kinchloe go?
mick987g9 January 2021
Got a small idea of what happened to Kinchloe a.k.a Ivan Dixon. Yes they did transfer him to another Stalag as Klink and Burkhalter decide things were getting a bit to friendly with the group. So they did a swap with another Stalag. Kinch was still thinking of Kumasa / Carol Dukes. So he escapes to Paris to be with her and they in turn escape to London where he serves out the war And after the war He and Carol now married head back to Detroit where he is discharged and starts a business that he ends up selling and is on the ground floor of Apple computers. He dies in his sleep and his former friends meet in a bar and drink a few toasts to Kinch!
