- TriviaLook carefully and you will see that Colonel Crittendon's mustache is upside down for the entire episode.
- GoofsHogan refers to a "high school production of ARSENIC AND OLD LACE". AOL was in its Broadway run until 1944 at which time it transferred to regional productions. High schools could not use the property until the early 1950s at the earliest. As an interesting aside, Robert Crane would play Mortimer Brewster in the 1969 made-for-television version of the play.
Update: While Hogan does indeed refer to a high school production of 'Arsenic and Old Lace', it was only because that was the play that came to mind. The idea is that they were not going to run the operation like amateurs. He was not making any kind of reference to high schools actually having performed the play. He could just as easily have referred to a high school production of 'Of Mice and Men'.

Colonel Crittendon returns in this enjoyable show
Bumbling British Colonel Crittendon makes another appearance in this episode as the Colonel that causes problem wherever he decides to visit. And early in this show he is up to his old tricks.
What has happen is that Stalag 13 has a guest in the form of Doctor Vanetti that is a member of the atomic elite. He is at the prison camp so that he can work on the atomic bomb in the safety and quietness of the secure camp. When Hogan gets wind of this man in camp, he send to another Stalag for a trained assassin. However, Crittendon gets in the way and the assassin is captured so Crittendon will take the role of the trained assassin. Nothing good can come from this situation.
It turns out the Doctor is actually wanting to escape Germany but Crittendon believes it is a distraction and vows to kill the man. Hogan is going to have to think of a way to rid the camp of Crittendon and also help Doctor Vanetti escape to London.
Bernard Fox is always fantastic as the outlandish Crittendon and provides much needed comedy to the role. Another good story and excellent written and it all comes together for an entertaining show.
