Col. Hogan: Did you see where the codebook was?
Newkirk: Nothing escaped these eagle eyes, sir. It was on old Klink's desk.
LeBeau: You would think he put it in a real hiding place.
Col. Hogan: Why should he? As far as he knows, it's just a book on personal hygiene. All right, you men know what to do. Battle stations.

Felt like two scripts combined into one episode
In this episode Hogan gets a message from London to silents a defector, Leslie Smythe-Beddoes, that has been assigned to the German Propaganda service. And for some reason, Hogan believes that this defector is a man and plans for a electric razor to explode when operated. It comes as a bit of a surprise when Leslie Smythe-Beddoes (Ruta Lee) turns out to be a woman and the plan goes back to the drawing-board.
With Klink receiving an award for service, due to an escape free record, the propaganda unit will be broadcasting near the camp. Hogan has to come up with a way to silents the defector even if silents does not mean death.
This was a nice episode as it is filled with some funny lines and well written scenes. But the show seemed rush as there are two stories-lines going on at one time. The award for Klink was interesting in its own right but it seemed most of the time was spend trying to get a book out of Klink's office to find out what the secret message actually said. It was like two scripts in one with not enough time spent on either.
