The sit in is in full swing at Sloan Industries. It's all boys from here when Anne insists that Linda leaves the factory. Charlie negotiates while keeping the workers in check.
The Davies's are split on who's right about the strike, so is the rest of town. Everyone seems to have someone on either side of the fence. "Say hi to my nephew for me," says the sheriff to Charlie as he hands him an injunction ordering the sit-in workers to leave the premises.
