- The storm makes Kevin and Molly postpone their honeymoon. Their moving in together period is initially rough as it is difficult to combine two sets of household items into Kevin's place, especially personal items to Molly such as her ladybird lamp and large portrait of herself and Brian. They may be able to overcome these minor differences to have a makeshift honeymoon in their new living quarters, but their honeymoon faces a more physical setback: their new house guest, Brian. The storm also caused a setback in Brian's real estate development, in which he sank all his money. After the bank forecloses on his house, Brian has nowhere else to go. To maintain a livable situation for all, Brian and Kevin have to come to an understanding that they are now family to each other. Meanwhile, Daniel's church also faced some storm damage, so it may not be the best time for a visit from his parents. Daniel's father, Cliff Cooper, a famous and wealthy televangelist, is someone whom Daniel has always struggled to please. He may now be able to please his father as facing health issues, Cliff needs a partner for his vast ministry. Cliff has come to Hope Island to ask Daniel to be that partner. Daniel has to decide between pleasing his family or maintaining his new meaningful life on Hope Island. Two women in Daniel's life, Alex and his mother Bonnie, may factor into Daniel's decision.—Huggo
