- Christine Francis: I just don't get it. We use Hank a lot. Plenty of compliments.
- [passing by a hotel employee]
- Christine Francis: Hi, Dave. Never a complaint.
- Peter McDermott: I don't think Amy's making it up.
- Christine Francis: Why? Children have very active imaginations.
- Peter McDermott: Yeah, but being molested isn't something a kid just dreams up on her own. You know, hundreds of people pass through my life every day. You get a sixth sense about who they are. This one's a nice lady, that guy's a deadbeat. Someone's got a problem, someone else is lying.
- Christine Francis: Are you beginning to think maybe you were wrong about Hank?
- Peter McDermott: Maybe.
- Christine Francis: Peter, people who do this kind of thing are very sick, but they also are very clever.
- Peter McDermott: Yeah, but something's been bugging me. Something Amy said.
- Phil Jamison: Don't walk out on me like this, Carole. I'll get help. I'll... I'll do anything that you ask. If Amy doesn't testify, there won't be a case.
- Carole Jamison: She'll testify.
- Phil Jamison: You wouldn't put her through that. You wouldn't do it.
- Carole Jamison: She'll do whatever she has to. This isn't going to happen to some other little girl.
- Peter McDermott: [seeing Chad developed a connection with a female guest] I get the feeling you've made some kind of decision.
- Chad Lawrence: Yeah. I would say, um, a definite maybe.
- Peter McDermott: Am I gonna have to get used to you without your collar?
- Chad Lawrence: I don't know. You think you can teach me how to knot a tie?
- Peter McDermott: What are friends for?
- Phil Jamison: What's the conspiracy here? You find the kid. You pick up the kid!
- Peter McDermott: I sent a security man over to his apartment. Hank Miller is not home.
- Phil Jamison: Well, for God's sake, of course he's not home. He's taken off somewhere.
- Peter McDermott: We don't really know anything for sure.
- Carole Jamison: We know it.
- Phil Jamison: Amy knows it.
- Peter McDermott: Believe me, Mr. Jamison, Mrs. Jamison, nothing's going to be swept under the rug. There's got to be some kind of an explanation.
- Phil Jamison: Explanation? He molested our baby. You want to try to explain that?
