Loco (Barbara Eden) is struggling to maintain a conversation with her worldly wealthy date William Sanford III (Anthony Eisley, "Hawaiian Eye"). She decides to enroll in night school. Loco struggles in class and her instructor Mr. Herman Kranz (Richard Deacon, Mel Cooley in "The Dick Van Dyke Show", "The Mothers-In-Law", "Leave It to Beaver") suggests that she tutors with classmate Albert Wagner (Leon Tyler). William is leaving for Chicago but says he will ask her a very important question when he returns. Albert falls in love with Loco and is angry when she says that she is engaged to William. When he starts to cause a scene she says that she's instead in love with Mr. Kranz. When Albert tells Mr. Kranz, the instructor arrives at the penthouse to tell Loco that he loves her. Now Loco must find a way out of a series of tangled romantic webs.
