Goodbye Loco
JordanThomasHall29 November 2017
Bachelor Charles Biddle (Tod Griffin) is looking to sublease the ladies' penthouse and they invite him over in hopes of landing a wealthy man. Mike (Merry Anders) puts on a Tallulah Bankhead imitation with Greta (Lori Nelson) imitating Marilyn Monroe and Loco (Barbara Eden) the strong, silent type- Gary Cooper. When Loco messes it up Greta is highly upset. Loco packs to leave for Hollywood saying Mr. Biddle is giving her a small part in a movie entitled "Shanghai Blues". Mike and Greta are sad to see her go. When they find out her story was made up (which seemed obvious) they look at ways to find Loco. The episode is rather swift, but the plot feels lacking throughout, yet picks up steam with a few laughs near the end.

This ep of "How to Marry a Millionaire" wasn't as good as the previous ones I watched on YouTube but it still had some moments

This is the fourth, and last, of the "How to Marry a Millionaire" eps I managed to find on YouTube. In this one, Loco (once again, Barbara Eden) has managed to flub another of roommates Greta Hanson (Lori Nelson) and Mike McCall's (Merry Anders) attempts to snag a rich bachelor with Mike impersonating Tallulah Bankhead and Greta, Marilyn Monroe-you know, the one who had a role in the previous movie version of this show. So she packs things up and tells them she's going to Hollywood. But...This was a more silly ep of the show and things are lacking when Ms. Eden isn't on screen but it was still enjoyable all the same especially whenever Barbara does her amusing bits. And it was nice to see Greta and Mike care about her enough that Greta hangs up on the potential spouse twice! Like I said, these were all I managed to find of this obscure show but if I ever manage to fine any further eps, I'll review them here. Until then...
