Millionaire James "Jim" Austen (Gordon Mills) has moved into the apartment below the ladies. The widower has come to the point where he is comfortable in wanting to meet some women and has his chance when Loco (Barbara Eden) accidentally dumps their laundry on him while lying on his patio. He has the perfect temperament and takes the ladies out to lunch. Loco tells Mike (Merry Anders) and Greta (Lori Nelson) that she overheard a woman at the next table say that Jim was a "bluebeard"- someone who kills their wives. As signs points to it being true, they become increasingly cautious and afraid. Some touches of suspense and comedy here.
