"Battle of Waikiki" concludes the Hawaiian trilogy by casting Michael Ansara in the role of King Kamehameha the Great, who united and defended the islands as ruler until his death in 1819, conjured up by Jeannie when Tony foolishly wishes that he could have met the powerful warrior. The king is understandably confused by the modern conveniences, and though Jeannie is willing to blink him back to his own time Tony insists that he deserves to know what progress has been made in Hawaii. A rain dance only appeases the gods because of Jeannie's blink. Dr. Bellows wonders how they made it happen and is amazed at the success of his own rain dance. Now searching for his warriors, the king sounds the war drums and impresses his subjects with his presence. Mostly padding but providing an eyeful of local scenery. After playing the evil Blue Djinn in "Happy Anniversary," Michael Ansara, then-husband of Barbara Eden, would be back for the fifth season's "My Sister, the Home Wrecker" (we do get to see her in grass skirt doing the hula).
