Diamond Head
DKosty12310 January 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Milton Berle and Fred Clark, both of who played con men in their careers do the same here. Set in Hawaii this one centers of a favorite broach of Jeannie's given to her by King Tut. This is one of the few times that other than scenery around the islands there is very little role for the folks in Hawaii on this. The con men get played masterfully by the lady from the bottle here. She is looking good too.

It is fun seeing the guest stars here and Berle really does not steal any jokes because his mugging as a con man takes him away from doing much comedy here.

Yes, it is the old beach front property loaded with diamonds that plays out this con game.

Milton Berle's Hawaiian adventure
kevinolzak27 October 2016
"The Second Greatest Con Artist in the World" began a trilogy of episodes set in Hawaii, followed weeks later by the others, "Jeannie Goes to Honolulu" and "Battle of Waikiki." Titular con artist Vanderhaven is played by Milton Berle, 'Uncle Miltie' himself, acting very much like BATMAN's Louie the Lilac, demanding to meet Major Nelson. Because Jeannie claims that her pin is the real one that belonged to King Tut himself, worth half a million, Vanderhaven tries to convince her to purchase a piece of real estate covered in diamonds: "why do you think they call this Diamond Head?" What they don't know is that he works as retainer for actual millionaire Vanderhaven (Fred Clark), unwilling to accept a crummy $10,000 in the old skinflint's will. Jeannie learns her lesson and tops his con with one of her own.
