Interesting that guest star Claude Akins makes reference to the movie he and Ricky made n Hollywood and they are appearing on the same another movie in Florida.
This has some funny stuff but the basic plot coupled with the backstage difficulties makes this one a little harder to enjoy. It's just too similar. I try to separate the entertainment from other things but it's not always possible. It's also honestly one of Lucy's lamest schemes.
I do like the scenes when they are stranded on the island. Fred is really the one I enjoy the most in this episode. His comment about hitching a ride on a passing halibut cracks me up every time.
