Fred? Yes. Ricky? No

I really like this one because it shows the Ricardos and the Mertzes in the morning bickering and wearing pajamas, whereas a Fan magazine journalist is coming over they all pretend to be perfect; well dressed and polite. It's a treat. And the whole publicity stunt is good. The Kinsey line was bold especially in 50s clean up sitcom.

Trusting Ricky/Desi

Warning: Spoilers
This episode always breaks my heart, particularly seeing Lucy's face after she gets off the phone with the Tropicana Club. Knowing Desi was always unfaithful, and having to use this storyline a few times in the show, makes me wonder how Lucy felt in drawing from her real life experience to "play" a suspicious wife. I'll always love Lucy!

Warning: Spoilers
The first part of the episode is funny enough when everyone is grumpy in the morning and acting typical. When Jerry arranges an all day fan magazine interview it starts to feel forced and corny . Jerry also sets up a publicity stunt that invites every woman on the Tropicana mailing list for Saturday night and over five hundred women are invited!

The fan magazine interviewer Eleanor is nice but a comment makes Lucy start to suspect Ricky . Put the two together and you see where it's going.

The best scene has Lucy and Ethel tracking down the woman who's name she found in Ricky's pocket (it's just one of the cards Jerry had printed up) They find Minnie Finch ( the name on the card) and her friends a rather loud and slovenly group that have been invited too. All much older than Ricky . Ethel realizes it's one of Jerry's crazy publicity stunts . Ethel to Lucy " you don't think Ricky would date those three do you " , Fred yes , Ricky no!" When they get home they find Ricky and Eleanor back unexpectedly from the club as Ricky was punched by Minnie's husband! He had the same idea Lucy had.

Minnie Finch is played by Kathryn Card who shows up a season later as Lucy's daffy mother.
