In the opening scene, when the little boy sees, and then picks up the two gold bars, he handles them like they weighed less than a stone brick (2.2lb), whereas genuine gold(bricks) weigh substantially more. The 'gold' bar's stamped as being '4oz, 1.000 fine', and are not genuine. A genuine COMEX (COmmodity EXchange) 1oz bar is tiny, only under 3"x2", thereby a genuine 4oz would actually not be that much bigger (a LOT smaller than what's pictured). The bar he handles appears to be equivalent of a genuine 1 kilo bar. That would contain 32.15oz - weighing over 70lbs, and would't be as easily manouverable by an adult, let alone a child of that size (holding 2), who's own bodyweight would be approximately what a real bar would weigh.
