When David Banner first helps out Jack, he refuses any money or reward for his actions and only accepts Jack's hospitality begrudgingly. When Jack purchased the lottery ticket in David's name, David also insists that it was not necessary but begrudgingly accepts the ticket. After it turns out to be a winner, David gets angry (but not angry enough to turn into the Hulk) over the fact that Jack has not given him his share of the lottery winnings. He pressures him several times over this. This is totally out of character for David Banner not just from previous episodes but this one as well. However, David had counted on the winnings to pay for the equipment he needed to find the cure of his problem, so he was certainly justified in demanding what was rightfully his.
There are two mistakes in the Hulk/helicopter scene. When the Hulk is wrestling with the helicopter, the California mountains are visible in the background. This story was set in Texas. Also, they got the physics wrong. The strength of the Hulk had nothing to do with keeping the helicopter from taking off; only his weight would have affected it, assuming the Hulk's legs weren't somehow attached to the ground.
