  George Carlin : Kevin came to me and he wanted me to play this. He said "I wrote this part, this character, with you in mind, and would you look at it?" So that got me into this... minor repertory company of... of Ben's, which is... where-where these folks show up a lot and that was my first one and I've done three now.

Eight months later, we were standing in NBC's building doing The Jack Paar Show as "Burns & Carlin", about six months established.
