Best Episode!

The great acting and chemistry of Michael Blodgett and David Carradine combine, for a whimsical and entertaining Ironside episode, featuring live singer songwriter musical performances by both artists, who portray two brothers in a folk singing trio, who get into trouble after a bad trip goes wrong. Michael Blodgett is gorgeous in open shirts and hippie beads, and both Michael and David Carradine are surprisingly talented singers, and guitar pickers in addition to their acting mastery! The brothers take a wrong turn, and pay the price of drug abuse in the end! Great classic episode of the hippie culture 70's TV we all love so much, featuring two iconic actors of the era in their prime, who obviously had a great chemistry together! Oh, to have been hanging out on that set! Flashback, man!

Off the wall brothers
bkoganbing13 May 2017
Barbara Anderson shows a serious lapse in professional judgment as the charisma of David Carradine damn near overwhelms her. Carradine and his brother Michael Blodgett and a female friend of Anderson's are part of a trio. A kind of cross between the folk singing 60s crossing over in the disco 70s. Anyway when Anderson goes to a performance it turns out that her friend is missing. Efforts to locate her come up short.

At the same time the Ironside crew is investigating the murder of an as yet unidentified female. Now you know these cases are going to cross over themselves.

I found Blodgett and Carradine's characters way to off the wall for this to be any kind of coherent episode.

Not one of the best from Ironside.
