Shazam, the Mighty Word is Isis!
wes-connors9 October 2010
"The Secrets of) Isis" was CBS-TV's short-lived Saturday morning companion to "Shazam!" (starring the original Captain Marvel). The live action series begins without an origin episode; instead, an expository voice-over from the heroine's "Royal Sorcerer" accompanies the story of Isis' magical amulet. It is found, 3,000 years later by beautiful science teacher JoAnna Cameron (as Andrea Thomas), a descendant of the original Isis. When Ms. Cameron needs to defend the weak or champion justice, she calls, "Oh, Mighty Isis!" and is able to "soar as the falcon soars, run with the speed of gazelles, and command the elements of sky and earth!"

We begin with Cameron mulling over some recent UFO photographs, with "closest friends" Brian Cutler (as Rick Mason) and Joanna Pang (as Cindy Lee). Mr. Cutler is skeptical. But, Ms. Pang was hiking on "Mystery Mountain" and saw the UFOs, with handsome Michael "Mike" Maitland (as Chick Jeffers) and blond pal Kenneth "Ken" Wolger (as Art Byron). When learning about the photographs, ex-"Dark Shadows" star Maitland decides he must report their existence to ominous and potentially dangerous Kelly Thordsen (as Joel Moss). Eventually, Cameron calls "Oh, Mighty Isis!" and twirls into action, wearing her pretty mini-skirt.

Good memories comes along !!!!

I guess around 1976 in saw some episodes of this series, in that time I'd already found it a bad thing, so bad that is good, barely remember which episode l did watched, in this time I just put in my Movie's book full length pictures, series weren't accounted, due it was too short, like this nearly 25 minutes long, so I'd decided start all over again, now l had the same impression of ISIS, a low profile series, childish stuff, the most odd subject was introduced on the storyline, the special effects are a true rubbish, however stays a nostalgic atmosphere of my early teenager years, the entire series had an official release!!!
