Dot and Howard attend a play together when no one else with go with her. They have such a good time they start seeing each other regularly; Sonny plans a charity event called Lounge Aid.
An okay episode, nothing more. We know Dot and Howard are not really going to end up being an item. They do have their own "Mary and Lou" moment on his sofa, where they kiss and immediately laugh afterwards, and decide to not pursue anything further.
Best part is how peeved Nancy is about the whole thing. She even threatens BOTH their jobs.
It's nice to see Sonny in his glory at the end, surrounded by his peers as they all sing "Misty".
Lounge Aid was a wink to 1985's Live Aid concert which raised funds for the famine in Ethiopia.
