In the opening scene, after Harm administers an oath to Bud in connection with his promotion to full lieutenant, Bud removes a dress-blue coat with jaygee stripes and dons instead a coat with lieutenant stripes, bud he does so without changing the marks on the shoulder straps on his shirt from jaygee to lieutenant. Technically he's out of uniform -- by wearing jaygee shoulder marks and lieutenant sleeve stripes at the same time.
There are at least 2 errors with MCPO Robert's ribbons. 1) He has a Vietnam Campaign Medal but no Vietnam Service Medal. It took only one day in the combat zone to earn the VSM. But, it took 6 months to earn the VCM. 2) His rate insignia and hashmarks are gold. This requires at least the last 12 years of service to all be good conduct. He has no Good Conduct Medal.
Bud, a lieutenant, and Harriet, a jaygee, encounter LCdr. Jordi Parker on the parking lot, but no exchange of salutes takes place at all, although Bud, senior to Harriet but junior to Jordi, had a duty to initiate a salute when meeting and again when parting.
Near the beginning of the episode, Harmon incorrectly refers to Bud's case helping his father as Bud's first case, when he had another case (public urination) in the previous episode.
