Warning: Spoilers
(AJ for DCNO?) Bud and Harriet both share the lucky number 16. Several deaths, including Admiral Bill Clancy (AJ's post-Vietnam mentor) and Adm Paul Whelan (AJ's rival and competitor for the possible promotion to DCNO).

There is a side-bar involving Mitchell Schoenfeld (politician) "comforting" the grieving widow. Mac and Dalton reconcile and look to re-set their personal friendship (professionally, Lowell Hanson and Lowne had replaced her within three days of her walking out to return to JAG and seek re-instatement).

Woven into these threads is a nice story of revenge, going back 12 years to a design flaw which resulted in the son of "Allenby" being jailed for a crime that wasn't a crime. Unfortunately, he died during his incarceration in Leavenworth before he could be exonerated. There is an altercation and Mac gets to play with lumps of wood...

Finally, AJ gets to speak with his daughter. Annie finally speaks to Harm about her fears for the future; this relationship isn't likely to go anywhere.
