A typical topic for ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS series. An Intruder or Home invasion scheme, with a woman alone at home with her kid and who realizes that there is some kind of a problem, a man who got into her car whilst she drove back home. But the man is dead and, as you can expect, the phone line is also dead, the night has come and the wind is blowing hell. Excellent terror atmosphere where the audience feels the same as the lead character. The director Sid Landfield, except for HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES, was not used to this kind of topic, but rather comedies and musicals.
