Maddy witnesses the military removal of what is believed to be an alien creature, having photographed it, she foolishly left personal information at the scene.
It does feel like a bit of a spoof on The X Files, but it's more than that, definitely a little tongue in cheek, you have the brash Americans coming in and trying to take over, but ultimately it's the subtle Creek that solves the mystery.
There are some amusing moments, Jonathan and Maddy on the chat show was funny, the way he rattled on, leaving her sat silent. It's definitely very, very different, it's unlike all other episodes, the first time it goes down the sci fi avenue.
It's definitely boosted by the presence of John Shrapnel, who's a huge presence, that wonderful, velvet voice. Michael Brandon is also rather good, look out for a young Charlie Brooks in the book shop.
8/10.
