The train station filming location is Leamington Spa.
Although Geraldine Newman 's character appears in the credits as simply 'The Chairlady', she is in fact named in the script as 'Miss Wilkinson'.
The stationmaster is never named in the credits, despite the fact that there is a nameplate on his desk which shows that his name is Winston T. Victor.
The Meeting Room set looks very like the Bucket's front room set, in its blue decorated period, as seen in earlier episodes. In the previous episode, it appears that the plants were in the re-decorated room.
This episode features a rare instance of Hyacinth not correcting someone when her name is pronounced "Buck-it" rather than "Boo-kay". This is when Geraldine Newman's character says "Oh, there you are Mrs Bucket!" following the mix up in picking the Commodore up from the station. This was probably due to Hyacinth's embarrassment about the foresaid confusion and not wanting to seem out of her depth before the Committee and especially the Commodore.
